With Arsenal players set to return to action and others ruled out, we take a look at the Gunners’ injuries ahead of their Premier League clash against West Ham.

David Ospina (back)

The goalkeeper picked up a knock against Manchester City at the weekend and as a result looks set to miss out on the match against the Hammers.

The Colombian looked in discomfort after hurting his back during the 2-2 draw on Sunday and missed training on Tuesday.

Emi Martinez will have to step in.

Petr Cech (calf)

Cech could return against Crystal Palace after suffering a calf strain against West Brom before the international break. However, he won’t be ready to face West Ham.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring)

The Ox missed out on the City game with a tight hamstring but is set to return against West Ham after training on Tuesday.

Aaron Ramsey (calf)

Like the Ox, Ramsey looks set to return against the Hammers after missing the City match with tight calf muscles. He was in training on Tuesday ahead of the match against West Ham at the Emirates.

Lucas Perez (thigh)

Perez is still out with a thigh strain. No exact return date has been given.

Laurent Koscielny (Achilles)

The centreback was taken off against City after an old Achilles problem flared up. Arsene Wenger says it looks serious and therefore no return date has been give yet. He won’t play against West Ham.

“It is certainly serious,” Wenger said in presser.

“If he’s ruptured a few fibres of his tendon, it could be a few weeks. If it’s just an inflammation, he could maybe be available for selection next week against Crystal Palace. I think he has a scan today and we’ll know much more tomorrow.”

Santi Cazorla (ankle)

Cazorla won’t play again this season.

Francis Coquelin

Coq appeared to be absent from training on Tuesday. Apparently, he faces a late fitness test ahead of the West Ham game.
