Ever wondered how much the Arsenal board take out of the club? Well, wait no longer.

  • Gazidis was first non-football salary over £1m in 2011
  • Kroenke took £3m from club in 2014 and 2015
  • Chief executive takes home most by vast margin

Thanks to this brilliant piece by Phil from Angry of Islington, we’re able to see just how much the club’s board members are taking.

At the moment, Lord Harris of Peckham is the only board member not taking anything except for the usual advantages, such as Diamond club access, that come with the job.

Chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, is understandably taking home the most… by a vast margin. In fact, his annual salutary is now £2,648,000. This has increased from £667,000 in 2009.

The next highest paid board member is director, Ken Friars OBE, who earned £661,000 last year.

Interestingly, majority shareholder, Stan Kroenke, and his son Josh, only ‘earn’ £25,000 a year now, which seems rather low. However, this doesn’t include the £3m the American took out of the club in 2014 and 2015, as this was paid to his business.
