Arsenal’s Takuma Asano scored a brace on Sunday afternoon as Stuttgart beat Karlsruher 2-0.

His first strike came in the 27th minute, his second sealing the points in the 67th.

Prior to this match, Asano had scored two league goals all season (with four assists).

His first goal was a deft header after carefully avoiding Karlsruher’s offside trap. His second, a calm finish into an empty net after he watched a teammate’s effort saved.
