Arsene Wenger met with the press on Tuesday morning ahead of Arsenal’s game against West Ham at the Emirates on Wednesday night.

He gave the following updates on injured players:

Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny went off at halftime during the game against City. After the match, Wenger said he ‘did not know’ how long the defender would be out for. He still doesn’t know how long he will be out for. He then added he will have a scan on Tuesday at which point he will know if it’s days or weeks. “It’s certainly serious,” said Wenger.

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey was not involved against City because he returned from international duty with a calf problem. After the game, Wenger said he expected Ramsey to be OK for the Hammers’ game. He will have a fitness test today ahead of the game on Wednesday.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The Ox missed out on Sunday as he returned from international duty with a hamstring problem. He will have a fitness test today ahead of the game on Wednesday.

Wenger said, “Chamberlain and Ramsey have a test today. There is a good chance they are back. We lose Koscielny. How long? I don’t know.”
