Arsenal are reportedly looking to bring Celtic duo, Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele, to the club this summer, as Arsene Wenger is given massive £200m to make major boost to current squad.

This information comes as a bit of an annoyance for a growing group of Arsenal fans who want the Frenchman to leave his post. In order to improve their standing, the board is preparing the ground for the biggest squad overhaul since Wenger joined 21-years-ago. Or so they say.

According to the Mirror, the Celtic full back and striker are both on Frenchman’s shortlist of five players he plans to bring in during summer transfer window.

In addition to a new contract for Wenger, a budget of £200m will be provided and additional funds may come, as there is a possibility of Mesut Ozil leaving. The German has stalled on negotiations for his new contract worth £280,000 per-week and his future is still uncertain. Jack Wilshere could also leave the club as West Ham plan to buy him in a £20m deal to London Stadium.

There are also rumours circulating that Olivier Giroud, David Ospina, Lucas Perez and a few others that could also leave this summer.

With Alexis Sanchez already being reported as a target for some of Europe’s heavyweights, Arsene Wenger could have his hands full handling negotiations as he prepares his squad for what looks like his last hurrah.

While keeping their eye on Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette is considered to be on top of Wenger’s shopping list, as the Frenchman is desperate to bring in a world-class striker.

Other players that are rumoured to be close to joining Arsenal are Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, and goalkeepers Jordan Pickford from Sunderland and Jack Butland from Stoke City.

If Arsene Wenger plays his cards right this summer and manages to boost his squad, while keeping the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in the process, Arsenal could once again challenge for major honour’s in England and in Europe.
