According to the Mail on Sunday, Calum Chambers has been added to the list of players likely to leave Arsenal this summer.

  • Chambers signed for Arsenal from Southampton in 2014
  • He’s made just 36 Premier League appearances for Gunners
  • Currently on loan at Boro
  • Set to leave during summer clear out

Chambers has been on loan at Middlesbrough, who Arsenal play tonight (Monday), and was a consistent starter until he picked up an injury in February.

However, with Arsenal set to undergo a complete overhaul this summer, whether Arsene Wenger stays or not, Chambers is one of the names that fans could see heading for the exit, along with Wojciech Szczesny, Yaya Sanogo, Joel Campbell, and Mathieu Debuchy.

While Chambers only moved to north London from the Saints in 2014, he’s found it difficult to find his footing and while it’s important to note that when he has been called upon he’s not been bad, Arsenal need more than ‘not bad’ if they’ve going to recover next season.
