Jeff Reine-Adelaide recently spoke with France Football to spill the beans on what it’s like to train with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, and what he hopes his future at Arsenal entails.

Since signing from Lens in 2015, the 19-year-old’s made eight appearances for Arsenal’s first team, with six of those coming just this season in the FA and League Cups. Although he’s still inexperienced, Jeff’s impressed during his cameos and, according to the player himself, Arsene Wenger reckons he’ll become more of a regular over the next few years.

“I grow little by little,” he told France Football. “It is a very rewarding experience. I train with the pros, it’s pretty impressive.

“When we have players of this quality next to us, we are obliged to learn and watch them. I’m still so impressed. But when you’re integrated into the group, it’s easier on the field, you’re less intimidated.”

The France youth international added, “I see (Arsene Wenger) every day, he often speaks to me. He tells me to be patient, and that it will come one day.”

Jeff’s only made five Premier League 2 appearance for the youth team this season because he’s been sat on Arsenal’s bench. This means that although he’s clearly talented, he’s not getting a whole lot of football right now. However, it seems that this will be changing and the further he develops, the more the fans will see of him.
