It looks as if Harry Kane could make his return from injury before Tottenham’s Premier League clash against Arsenal on 30 April.
- Spurs hope to have Kane back in action for North London Derby
- Kane’s scored 5 goals against Arsenal
- Arsenal drew 1-1 with Spurs in November – Kane scored
The striker suffered ankle ligament damage after landing awkwardly during Spurs’ 6-0 FA Cup win over Millwall on 12 March.
At the time, there were fears that the England international could miss the rest of the season but now, according to the Daily Mail, Kane is set to start running again by the end of the week. If everything goes as planned, Spurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino, hopes to have his star man back in action for the North London Derby.
Last time Arsenal met in November, Kane was Spurs’ only goalscorer, slotting home a penalty after a challenge from Laurent Koscielny on Mousa Dembélé in the area. The spot-kick drew the score level and Spurs left with a point.
Therefore, if the Lilywhites can get their striker fit in time for the clash at White Hart Lane, it’ll be a massive boost.
