Brendan Rodgers is said to want Arsenal’s Chris Willock as the Gunners are linked with Celtic’s Kieran Tierney again.
Arsenal were linked with a move for Tierney back in the summer in a story that was great fun to pull apart. Arsenal were scouting the player (and could still be for all we know) but nothing came of the rumours linking him with a £10m switch to the Emirates.
Now, the Mirror are back reporting that Brendan Rodgers is expecting a bid from Arsenal in the summer and that he wants a 19-year-old in return from Arsenal – Chris Willock.
Of course, there’s no way Arsenal are selling Chris Willock who is earmarked for a big future.

The player doesn’t seem to want to move, either, so there’s no fear that he could agitate for one.
That being said, Rodgers could be swayed with an offer of Willock on loan for a season and the experience would do the teenager the world of good. Rodgers is said to be willing to use the lure of regular first-team football to get Willock up north, so why shouldn’t Arsenal use that to their advantage?
