Theo Walcott was anonymous against West Brom and Twitter didn’t hold back in its criticism of the inconsistent forward.

Before Theo was subbed off for Olivier Giroud in the second half, he completed just 15 passes and had one shot.

While some Gooners were angry, all some could do was laugh.

Others forgot that Theo was even on the pitch, leading to confusion when it was taken off.

However, there were some fans out there willing to defend his performance and instead claimed that he should have gotten an England call-up this week after Gareth Southgate left him out of the squad.
