Arsene Wenger confirmed that Alex Oxlalde-Chamberlain was taken off against Lincoln City due to a hamstring problem.
The Ox was replaced by Mesut Ozil after just 27 minutes with the game still level at 0-0. The midfielder headed straight down the tunnel and by half time, reports claimed he had been removed because of a ‘tight hamstring’.
Speaking to the press after watching his side put 5-0 past Lincoln City, ending their history-making run, Arsene Wenger told reporters, “Looks [like a] hamstring problem and we have to assess that on Monday.”
A late strike at the end of the first half from Theo Walcott was added to by Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and a Watferall own goal, although Mesut was lurking just behind him.
It takes Wenger through to his 11th FA Cup semi-final.
