Wojciech Szczesny’s Roma side picked up another win on Sunday, easing past Torino 4-1 in the capital.

The Arsenal man, beaten once, made three saves during the match and finished with a passing/distribution accuracy of 60% (Cech’s average for the league this season is 56.6%).

The Pole has really flourished during his season and a half in Italy. Roma purchased a keeper in the summer who was to be their permanent number one, but Woj is holding his place. If Arsenal are thinking of replacing Cech next season (and I hope they are) then Woj is the man.

In 25 Serie A games this season he’s conceded 22 goals and kept 11 cleansheets. His passing/distribution average for the season in the league is a very impressive 74.7%. When you consider his distribution at Arsenal, that’s a massive improvement. In his last season at the club it was 62.3%, 61.7% the season before. It was 48.1% in his first season.
