Eden Hazard has claimed that Chelsea could have scored more against Arsenal but decided not to bother.
In what is an odd statement – surely you would want to hammer as many past one of your fiercest rivals as you could – the Belgian told Chelsea TV, “We could score two or three more goals. We didn’t, we keep it for the next game, I think.
“I score a few goals, a few beautiful goals
“But this one is special. It’s against Arsenal and we won the game.
“This one is one of the best.”
While Hazard has been gaining all the plaudits for his goal, not much has been said about just how easy Arsenal, and in particular Francis Coquelin made it for him. To be honest, it would have been embarrassing not to score given how Arsenal defended.

Anyway. Apparently they could have scored more if they’d wanted to.
If you say so, Eden.
