Arsene Wenger confirmed after Arsenal’s 2-1 win away to Preston North End in the FA Cup that Hector Bellerin picked up an injury in training.

The right-back is a huge part of our regular starting XI so to have him out of action is… rather concerning.

No more details were apparently given regarding the nature of the injury or severity, so it’s a case of watching this space for the moment.

Great.

Bellerin joins the ever-growing list of players in our treatment room, which includes Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscielny after our 3-3 draw away to Bournemouth. However, at least we’ve now seen the return of Chuba Akpom for the u23s and Danny Welbeck for the first team. Onwards and upwards, eh?
