Dan Crowley has completed his loan move to Dutch side, Go Ahead Eagles, and will spend the second half of the season there.
The midfielder, who returned from his loan spell at from Oxford United due to ‘unprofessional’ behaviour, was confirmed to be heading to the Eredivisie side by technical manager, Dennis Bekking, recently after impressing during his trial period.
The 19-year-old completed all the appropriate medical examinations and paper work on 2 Jan so he could be in contention to face Fenerbahce at the weekend when the two sides meet for a friendly match following their winter break.
Go Ahead Eagles boss, Hans de Koning, sang the young midfielder’s praises, claiming that the Dutch side want to bring balance to their team.
Hopefully, the youngster, who’s had trouble with a couple of loan spells due to his behaviour off the pitch, can reign it in during this six-month loan spell in the Netherlands.
Go Ahead Eagles are currently at the bottom of the Eredivisie table so they need all the help they can get.
