Calum Chambers has reportedly suffered a stress fracture while on loan with Middlesbrough.

The defender has been been getting regular football while at ‘Boro, having made 16 Premier League appearances so far this season, but it seems that his solid run has come to an end after the 22-year-old picked up a stress fracture to his foot.

There’s no word on how exactly it happened, when Chambers will be back in action or whether he’ll return to Arsenal to recover but the England youth international will be gutted considering how positively his loan spell was going. He even managed to get an assist during his last Premier League appearance against West Ham.

We wish Calum a speedy recovery and will let you know the latest injury news as we hear it.
