Arsenal and Everton are just two of the numerous clubs linked with Lyon forward, Rachid Ghezzal.

The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Everton are willing to offer him €400k/month, so say Sport Witness.

Saying this, Monaco, Atlético Madrid, Valencia and AC Milan have all been linked as well, which does suggest that this could be his agent’s doing, considering if the Ligue 1 team doesn’t offer him a new deal, he needs somewhere to go and linking this many clubs with him makes him seem more desirable.

Are Arsenal interested? I doubt it. Perhaps if there weren’t 101 clubs interested in the Algeria international, I could buy it, but, unless someone’s leaving, we’re okay for forwards.

So far this season, Ghezzal has scored twice and assisted four times in 14 Ligue 1 appearances. Therefore, he’s not really much better than who we’ve already got and I’m sure there are clubs out there which hold far more genuine interest than we do at the moment.
