Arsene Wenger revealed that there are no new injuries going into Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Stoke City.

The boss told the press that there are no new players out for the game against Stoke on Saturday. However, Francis Coquelin returns from suspension and Hector Bellerin faces a late fitness test to see whether he’s ready to be brought back into the squad or not.

The right-back picked up an ankle injury against Spurs just before the international break thanks to a dangerous challenge from Danny Rose. However, he’s been recovering well and, according to the boss, could be back soon.

Meanwhile, Per Mertesacker, who recently starting training against after surgery on his knee, and Danny Welbeck are continuing to progress well.

Although it’s unlikely that we’ll see either playing for the first time this year, as Wenger says they’re still a few weeks away, it’s good to hear they’re on track.
