Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates for the first match of 2017 and they will be without seven players for the game.

Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker, Chuba Akpom, Santi Cazorla, Danny Welbeck and Mathieu Debuchy are all injured while Yaya Sanogo’s existence has still yet to be proven conclusively.

With the Ox expected back in training on Saturday and Mustafi ready to return to the starting lineup, Arsene has a few options at his disposal.

I’ve major doubts over my pick on the left wing. Lucas never starts, as you know and Wenger could play Iwobi or the Ox there.
