Xhaka has 'nothing to say' on controversial penalty

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Granit Xhaka both took to social media following Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Stoke on Saturday.

Despite going 1-0 down in the first half after Joe Allen ran into Xhaka’s elbow, resulting in a penalty for the visitors, the Gunners fought back, equalising through Theo Walcott just before half time and coming back to win 3-1 via Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi.

Xhaka presumably wanted to be careful with what he said post-match considering his Instagram caption ended with him saying he had nothing else to say… It’d be interesting to hear what he had thinks about the controversial penalty.

Both Xhaka and Alex started against the Potters and were brilliant, with the Switzerland international completing the most passes out of any other player on the pitch.
