On Sunday, Arsenal travel to Manchester City but it appears the Blues will be without another one of their star players.

According to Pep Guardiola, Ilkay Gündogan is going to be out for a long time and seems to think his current injury is ligament damage.

It’s a blow for City, considering the German has already made 16 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and assisting two in that time.

City are already without Sergio Aguero through suspension, so to be without their star midfielder is another blow.

Mesut Ozil’s compatriot was substituted during City’s 2-0 win over Watford on Wednesday night. While the win was good for City, putting them just one point off of Arsenal in third, losing Ilkay Gündogan casts a bit of a shadow over the victory.

Arsenal travel to Manchester City on Sunday six points off of first place Chelsea, level with Liverpool.
