Former Chelsea star has dig at Arsenal over City loss

Former Chelsea player, Michael Ballack, couldn’t resist the urge to troll some irritable Arsenal fans following our loss to Manchester City on Sunday.

Despite going 1-0 ahead in the first half and dominating the home side, in the second, the Gunners completely switched off, or, as Ballack put it, fell asleep, allowing City to eventually go 2-1 up.

The 40-year-old played for Chelsea between 2006 – 2010 and is therefore well-versed in the rivalry between his former club and Arsenal. He knew full well he was going to get more than a few bites following our performance and Gooners’ slightly embarrassing social media presence.

Not sure where he was when we beat Chelsea 3-0 earlier in the season though…
