Arsenal managed to score two goals against PSG on Wednesday night without getting a single shot on target (penalties don’t count) but that wasn’t the weirdest stat of the night.
With the game mostly decided by own goals, that means of the four that were scored on the night, only one was registered as a shot on target throwing up this stat:
2009 – Arsenal v PSG is the first Champions League match to have more goals than shots on target since Rangers v Unirea in Oct 2009. Quirky.

But these weren’t the only numbers people were talking about after the game.
Here are a few more:
1 – Olivier Giroud's penalty was Arsenal's first shot of any kind against PSG tonight. Fortune.

16 – No player in the big 5 European leagues has scored more goals in all competitions than Edinson Cavani this season. Sweet.

Arsenal have had just five shots in the last 120 minutes of football.

9 – Olivier Giroud has scored with 9 of his last 11 shots on target in all comps, after scoring with just 2 of his 22 previously. Reversal. pic.twitter.com/l2RLE7hTds

And, of course, let’s not forget that Shkodran Mustafi stretched his unbeaten start at Arsenal:
Shkodran Mustafi is unbeaten in his first 14 games for Arsenal. Only Bacary Sagna (17 games) had a longer unbeaten start at the club. #afc pic.twitter.com/R0NlwU6gHj
