PSG face Arsenal on 23 November at the Emirates and it seems midfielder Adrien Rabiot won’t be on the plane from Paris.
The 21-year-old has injured his hamstring during his France debut against the Ivory Coast. The match ended 0-0 but, for the midfielder, it cost far more.
Speaking to the French press after the game, Rabiot admitted that he thinks it’s a tear and that he’ll miss the Champions League match against Arsenal.
“It is the hamstring of the left thigh that was hit, maybe a tear,” he said, adding, “For Arsenal, I think it’s shredded.”
It’s not been confirmed by the club yet so for all know he could just be fearing the worst.
Rabiot has made 11 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season and also played against us during our match away to the Paris-based team in September.
Although he wasn’t a standout player for PSG, it’ll still be a blow considering the bloke is almost always injured and just appeared to be getting back to fitness.
Picking up an injury on your international debut must be a pretty large pill to swallow for a young player.
