Jack Wilshere is leaving a trail of broken hearts.

The on-loan star may have exchanged his frantic London life for a more relaxed seaside adventure, but reports emerged this weekend that his move has caused angst both back at Arsenal and down at Bournemouth.

The Cherries midfielder might has moved south with his fiancée. However, he revealed in a recent interview that his heart still lies back at London Colney.

Colin Lewin is the physio at the North London club, and it seems Wilshere is missing the company of the Arsenal man. Speaking to the Mail, he elaborated, “You can imagine me and Colin have become close. We’ve spent that much time together.” The academy graduate then became pensive and emotional, a single tear rolling down his cheek.

Lewin and Wilshere’s affections ignited when the player was sidelined in the 2011-12 season with a long-term ankle injury. The pair have remained close since. Their relationship moved to a new level when the Gunners star missed almost all of the 2015-16 season, with Lewin by his side throughout.

Benik Afobe is said to be devastated by the news. The former Gunners player had hoped that Wilshere’s move to join him on the south coast would reinvigorate a friendship that had drifted as Wilshere and Lewin grew closer. However, it seems the England international still pines for his quality one-on-one time with Lewin.

Another disappointed by developments is Cherries physio Steve Hard. Speaking exclusively to Daily Cannon via telepathy, he said, “I was excited when I heard Jack was coming here. I thought it would be the start of something special – I’m obviously his type. But he won’t even pop his head into the physiotherapy suite.”

Could these latest revelations be the catalyst for the Arsenal man to return to his parent club this summer?

The Wilshere camp was unavailable for comment.
