Arsenal are reportedly putting pressure on Fiorentia over 17-year-old goalkeeper, Giacomo Satalino.

According to Fiorentina News, the Gunners are putting pressure on the Serie A club and could make an offer for the youngster, who’s made five appearances for their youth side so far this season.

Satalino has also been capped for Italy at an under-16 and under-17 level.

As Sport Witness points out, he’s also attracted interest from Manchester United and Manchester City while Arsenal’s dates back to March.

Are Arsenal interested?

There’s no reason to believe we’re not.

We’ve been linked with 17-year-old Toulouse goalkeeper, Alban Lafont, so, if the reports are true, it does appear that we’re in the market for a new, young shot-stopper.

Although we have Emi Martinez and Matt Macey, who have both spend loan spells away from the club, Arsenal are always on the look-out for fresh talent.

Whether we’re genuinely after him remains to be seen but his existing contract with Fiorentina runs out in 2019.
