With Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Ludogorets coming midweek, it’s likely that we’ll see an ever-so-slightly changed starting XI to the one we saw in the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger has already made it clear that David Ospina is our Champions League goalkeeper. Plus, Petr Cech wasn’t exactly brilliant on Saturday, shipping two preventable goals against Swansea. Therefore, I’d put money on us seeing the Colombian between the sticks.
Granit Xhaka was given a straight red card and three-match ban on Saturday. While this doesn’t apply to the European tournament, Wenger could drop the midfielder in favour of Francis Coquelin who’s returning to fitness and joined the boss in his presser. Although the card arguably should have only been a yellow, it was still bad and having some time on the bench should give Xhaka some time to think.
