Toby Alderweireld was taken off during Spurs’ 1-1 draw against West Brom in mid-October and it looks as if he’s going to miss the North London Derby.
Apparently, nerve damage in the centreback’s knee has kept him sidelined and according to reports, he’s not even working with the ball in training yet.
Toby Alderweireld won't play against Leverkusen and is a doubt for Arsenal. He is slowly recovering from his knee nerve injury. #thfc #coys pic.twitter.com/RBegmA8sBH

The birds told me he isn't even training with the ball. Only running.

Before the draw against the Baggies, the 27-year-old started every Premiership and Champions League game for the Lily Whites and if he does miss the Derby on Sunday, the away crowd at the Emirates will be considerably more nervous. He was supposed to have already returned but it’s not looking likely.
Alderweireld is also reportedly set to miss Spurs’ European game over Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Spurs fans are hearing the news that one of their key starting XI is set to miss yet another important match and they’re not happy. They’ve failed to register a win since he was ruled out so you can sort of understand why.
@RickSpur Won't win this one either, without Toby.
