Jack Wilshere has backed his loan team, Bournemouth, to do something special after they beat Everton 1-0 on Saturday.
The midfielder made his second Premier League start and put in an improved performance, which wasn’t that difficult considering he didn’t have the best time during the Cherries’ 4-0 loss to Manchester City.
Taking to social media after the match, the 24-year-old said that he’s proud to be part of the team and is convinced they can do something special this season.
It’s good to see Wilshere settling into his loan team. Although it’s only temporary, in order to really get back into the swing of things he needs to fully immerse himself back into competitive football, which includes being part of a squad. If he can carry on getting game time and building his fitness, he’s bound to improve.
Don’t wander too far though, Jack. We want you back in red and white by next season!
Thanks to the win, Bournemouth now sit in 14th in the Premier League table.
