Granit Xhaka had a go at recreating Dejan Stankovic’s Champions League goal for Inter Milan.

The goal came against Schalke in 2011 but it’s no less spectacular to watch now. If anyone could recreate it, considering his last two worldies in as many appearances, it’s Granit Xhaka.

Two of the first three attempts weren’t far off, although one was completely scuffed. However, the Switzerland international nailed it on the fourth and final attempt.

The midfielder really is an unreal talent. Hopefully, he doesn’t get too discouraged to make those kind of shots on a regular basis. It’s something we probably need.

Check out Stankovic’s original strike and Xhaka’s attempts below.
