Ian Wright and Rio Ferdinand weren’t too impressed with Mesut Ozil’s selfie following Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea on Saturday.
The Arsenal and Manchester United heroes don’t believe the playmaker should be sharing these kind of pictures until we’ve won something.
The Gunners have come under fire for posting selfies in the past and, as Ferdinand pointed out, they can work against us since it can give opposition players ammunition. It can come across as self indulgent.
However, at the moment, all it appears to be is the players sharing a massive result with the fans, which isn’t something they’ve been able to do for a while.
Do you agree with Wright and Ferdinand’s criticism?
.@IanWright0 and @rioferdy5 think #AFC players should stop their dressing room selfies until they win silverware. https://t.co/ajiJdUzecU
