New boy, Shkodran Mustafi, recently took part in a Twitter takeover in which he revealed his nickname and why he has it.

The defender claims that some people call him ‘Musta’, while the German national team tend to call him ‘Musti’, but he reckons it’s just because they can’t pronounce his first name so they call him what they want. Charming!

The 24-year-old also revealed his love for tennis and the fact that he wasn’t a fan of any one football team as he was growing up, he just ‘lived football’.

He spoke about what type of music he likes. He’s a big fan of ‘the hip hop’, which is good to know considering it seems most of our squad are into their rap music, if past interview are anything to go by.

Mustafi also complimented the new away shirt… nice random question there, Arsenal.
