Arsenal’s u23s will be without Yassin Fortune and Nathan Tella, who have both picked up injuries.

Fortune, who signed for the club last summer in the same deal which saw Jeff Reine-Adelaide arrive at the Emirates (in that summer when we bought no outfield players), has a hip injury.

The problem will come as another blow to the player after missing most of pre-season and he is expected to be out for around a month.

Nathan Tella could be out for a lot longer after he picked up a problem in training, about which we are still awaiting clarification.

There was some good news for the u23s, however, with Charlie Gilmour closing in on a return and could take to the pitch later in the month for the game against Chelsea.
