Rio Ferdinand believes the key to Arsenal’s continued success needs to be the likes of Theo Walcott getting behind the young, more inexperienced players.
Speaking as a pundit on BT Sport after Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea, the former Manchester United defender said that although it was a good performance, we’ve had those before and something has gone wrong. He believes it’s up to the more senior players to coach the youngsters and keep them on the road to success.

To be fair, whether you rated Rio or not during his playing days, he won a lot of silverware with the Red Devils and for a lot of his career he acted as one of the experienced players he’s talking about.
We do need the likes of Theo to step up and make sure we don’t dip in form again. If we can keep this run going, we could have a really successful season.
