Rio Ferdinand hailed David Ospina as Arsenal’s hero on Tuesday night after keeping the Gunners in their tie with PSG.

The goalkeeper pulled off a number of stunning saves in the second half to keep the scoreline at 1-0 to PSG, before Alexis took his chance to equalise late on. If it hadn’t been for Ospina, the Ligue 1 team could have been three or four goals ahead and our goal would have meant nothing.

Ospina was indeed our hero and, as the former Manchester United defender pointed out to BT Sport, he proved Arsene Wenger right in his team selection.

It’s not often that Rio Ferdinand has high praise for Arsenal in general so let’s soak it up, people.
