According to the Evening Standard, Aaron Ramsey is set to miss the Hull trip as he continues to recover from his hamstring injury.

The midfielder picked up the injury during our opening match of the season, which we lost 4-3 to Liverpool at the Emirates, and although he was predicted to return after the international break (like Alex Iwobi did), he’s taking a little longer to recover, according to reports.

I doubt there’s any need to fret, however, since he has been back in training. With Ramsey’s past when it comes to injuries, it’s understandable that we would be a little more cautious with him. Obviously, this doesn’t exactly explain why he was thrown into the mix so soon at the beginning of the season but there’s no point deliberating over that now.

Arsene Wenger’s pre-Hull press conference has been postponed to 12:30pm (UK time) and I’m sure we’ll know whether this is in fact true then.
