David Ospina played a huge part in Arsenal salvaging a point against PSG in the Champions League, while Olivier Giroud will be remembered for a different reason.

Whoa, what a night in Paris once again.

Arsenal started with a really odd line up that shocked every single one of us. The performance was equally shocking for most of the time but hey, we got a point. Yet another sloppy match but a decent result in the end, how many of those do we have up our sleeve though?

David Ospina – 7.5

Let’s start with one more shocker – Ospina gets the best rating. Yes, he was his usual self in the first half but he saved us from a massive catastrophe in second half with some amazing saves. Well done, Dave!

Nacho Monreal – 6

All teams are obviously targeting Nacho’s side since the season started. He struggled like the rest of the defence.

Shkodran Mustafi – 6.5

Mustafi was okay, responsible for our first shot on goal in first half after a corner kick. Defensively strong.

Laurent Koscielny – 6.5

Wonderful clearance in one moment that stopped probably certain goal, and overall an okay performance from him.

Hector Bellerin – 6.5

Decent match, some great runs to the attack and crosses that unfortunately didn’t find anyone (mostly not his fault). Also one great clearance, like Koscielny.

Francis Coquelin – 6

Typical Coquelin performance, he even got a yellow card. Appeared in final third quite a few times but didn’t actually do much there.

Santi Cazorla – 6.5

Santi Cazorla had an okay game, controlling the midfield and at least trying to do *something* with the ball, although he didn’t have much help and therefore more than a few of his passes didn’t find their target.

Alex Iwobi – 6.5

Surprising start for Iwobi on the wing and he was really trying hard. You could see he needs match time and perhaps more confidence but he helped in creating chances and Alexis scored after his initial shot. Had a great chance to win us three points but shot really poorly.

Mesut Özil – 6

Continuing his “form” from the weekend, Mesut didn’t really show much in Paris. He did have some Özil-esque passes, including one for Iwobi in build up for the goal.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain – 6

He tries. That’s the best I can come up with. Rarely with a good end pass, I hope he doesn’t start the next match.

Alexis Sanchez – 7

He gets a seven because he did score our only goal and won us a huge point. He was good during whole match as well, trying hard, providing chances and finally scoring in the end. Ended up limping though.

Olivier Giroud – 3

In 30 minutes he spent on the pitch, he managed to get 2 yellow cards.

Granit Xhaka – 5

He got 20 minutes when he should have gotten 90. He looked good when he came on.

Mohamed Elneny – N/A

Played too little.
