What a match, finally a win against Chelsea, a clean sheet AND no cards!

Could it be better? Well, only if we actually scored more goals! A fantastic performance from Arsenal. Every single player delivered and performed well so you’ll see lots of high ratings from me!

Petr Čech – 7

Čech was left jobless for most of the time, with his first save in 88th minute. He did well when he was needed.

Nacho Monreal – 7

Good performance from our man Nacho but I have to say he got me worried in first half a few times, when Willian had all that space. He looked much better as time went by, both in defence and up front.

Shkodran Mustafi – 7.5

Did Mustafi even play? I barely even noticed him! Jokes aside, Mustafi and Kos is looking like a great partnership, and the German had yet another amazing game.

Laurent Koscielny – 8

Ooooh I wanna dance with Koscielny! What a defender. Kept Costa on down low, saved a few half-chances they had; a really boss performance from our captain. What else could we expect?

Hector Bellerin – 8.5

Bellerin was a proper menace for Chelsea, covering the defensive tasks and showing up up front. He provided the assist for Walcott and added a few more quality crosses. And that tackle on Pedro deserves half a point alone.

Francis Coquelin – 6.5

Shame that Coquelin got injured, he looked really good while he was on, who knows how it would be later. Hope it’s nothing too serious!

Santi Cazorla – 8

Someone tweeted today, are we sure that Santi isn’t 25? The man was running the whole match, bossing the midfield. He had a lot of space, he used it and enjoyed it. Amazing shot on target in the opening minutes as well.

Mesut Özil – 8.5

How good is Mesut when he enjoys the match?! Oh my. No look passes, chances created, long passes, and a goal. Brilliant match for our (almost) number 10, once again showed how good he really is. Pleasure to watch.

Alex Iwobi – 8

Great match for our youngster! Not impressed with Chelsea at all! He bossed that left side, although he could have been more of a help in defence at the start of the match. The future is bright.

Theo Walcott – 8

Theo always performs against Chelsea and today was no different. He looked thirsty for goals and got to score one, with a few more great chances. He helped the defence as well.

Alexis Sanchez – 8.5

100th match for Alexis at Arsenal and boy was it amazing. He scored a sweet opening goal thanks to Cahill’s error and set up amazingly for Mesut’s goal. He had quite a few more chances and just kept running all the time. Involved everywhere. He got a standing ovation when he was subbed off.

Granit Xhaka – 7

Many Gooners wanted and expected Xhaka in the starting 11 but Coquelin got his space. When he came on for the injured Frenchman, he looked decent. The crowd was urging him to shoot and he did but I guess two screamers in a week is enough.

Kieran Gibbs – 7

Gibbo put in a great performance in midweek and deserved 15 minutes today. He was great, with a few crosses and chances created. He also did this.

Olivier Giroud – 0 (or 5?)

Not enough time.
