Philippe Montanier rallied the Nottingham Forest fans ahead of their EFL Cup clash against Arsenal on Tuesday.
The Frenchman admitted that Arsenal are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and that the Championship team will need all of their fans to get behind them during the match.
Arsenal are likely to field a slightly younger team against Forest but that doesn’t mean to say we shouldn’t be competing. The EFL Cup is no doubt bottom of our list of priorities this season but getting a good cup run can be brilliant, especially for the youngsters.
PM: "It's exciting to be playing against one of Europe's biggest clubs. We are going to need every one of our fans tomorrow night." #NFFC

Montanier admitted that he was aware that the Gunners will probably play slightly different players to our Premier League and Champions League matches but this won’t change how Forest approach the game as they just want to win.
PM: "Arsenal may field a different starting line-up but that will not make it easier for us. They have many talented young players." #NFFC
