Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy were all in Arsenal training ahead of our Champions League clash with Basel on Wednesday.
While Maitland-Niles usually features for the youth squad, Jenko and Debuchy have both been sidelined through injury. They’ve now both returned and it’ll be interesting to see if either of them gets some minutes on the pitch against Basel.
Although Debuchy’s days at Arsenal appear to be numbered, Jenkinson, who was on loan at West Ham for the last couple of seasons, was over the moon to be back training with his Arsenal teammates.

As well as these three, the usual suspects, such as Granit Xhaka, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil were all in attendance, as well as Jeff Reine-Adelaide, who has been promoted to the fringes of the first team this season.

Two players missing from training were Aaron Ramsey, who’s still carrying a hamstring injury sustained against Liverpool, and Olivier Giroud who is also injured (toe) but is suspended.
