Antonio Conte has confirmed that John Terry has not recovered from his injury and will not take part in Saturday’s game at the Emirates.
The Chelsea captain returned to training this week and it had been rumoured that he would come back into the Chelsea team but speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference, Conte ruled him out.

Arsenal had some mixed injury news ahead of the game.
Olivier Giroud will face a late fitness test before the match after recovering ahead of schedule, but Aaron Ramsey is set to miss the next few weeks as he continues to struggle with a ‘Grade 1’ hamstring problem that is still causing issues when he tries to push off on that leg.
The injury, and the way it is failing to respond, as well as the psychological impact it is bound to be having on the midfielder, are looking like they are a serious issue now that will need to be managed.
Having already missed more than 50 games for Arsenal because of these types of problems, it must be a top priority for the club to find a way of dealing with them, which no doubt it is.
