Ian Wright seems confused over why Arsenal still have a Cesc Fabregas banner up on Ken Friar bridge when the midfielder now plays for Chelsea.

The midfielder, who left for his boyhood club Barcelona before signing for the Blues, still has a banner with his face on flying proudly on Ken Friar bridge leading up to the Emirates. This is something that fans have questioned before and have begun to question again since Wrighty drew attention to it.

Cesc was never an Arsenal legend and he certainly isn’t now, so why do we have his face still up?

Wrighty shared a picture of himself posing with the flag with the caption:

“HELLO ! How is Cesc still on the Ken friar bridge ?”

Gooners took to social media to voice their annoyance at the banner with one Instagram user saying:

“I agree. He has nothing to do with Arsenal now. #Judas”

It appears that Arsenal fans are also a little annoyed that no one has thought to take it down. It can be done quietly, we don’t have to bloomin’ burn the thing, but it does seem a little strange having it up, especially now that he plays for a direct rival.
