Rob Holding couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate his 21st birthday – four goals, a cleansheet and another 90 minutes for The Arsenal.
What were you doing on yours? I know mine involved a lot of vodka. A LOT.
It was also so long ago, that my 21st birthday was the day Arsene Wenger took charge of his first Arsenal game.
Yes, I’m that old. Hard to believe, innit?
Anyway, the former Bolton man, who looks more and more like an absolute steal, was solid at the back alongside Gabriel, although unless we suffer any injuries between now and the weekend, he’s likely to find himself back on the bench for the visit of Chelsea.
Taking to Twitter after the game, Rob also thanked Arsenal fans for all the birthday wishes.

Chuba Akpom also tweeted about the win, however he seemed a little more subdued, perhaps disappointed not to get himself on the scoresheet alongside Granit Xhaka, Lucas Perez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (see the goals here)
