Nicklas Bendter has described playing against Arsenal for Nottingham Forest on Tuesday as ‘beautiful’.

The striker, who has made two half-an-hour appearances for his new club so far this season, is keen to play against his former team, Arsenal, in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.

The 28-year-old, who was released by Wolfsburg in April, spoke recently to Tipsbladet where he seemed excited to get back on the pitch and show the Gunners what he’s made of.

“It’s definitely a goal for me (to play),” he said.

“It would be beautiful for me to come back and be ready to play against Arsenal.”

It appears, following Forest’s team news, that Bendtner’s wish will come true and he will get to play against Arsenal. In fact, he even says he will celebrate if he scores, which I doubt anyone has a problem with considering he hasn’t played a game for us since 2014 and it was our choice to let him go.

I have no doubt that ‘Lord’ Bendtner will get a decent reaction from the traveling away fans.
