Takuma Asano has been included in Stuttgart’s squad for their 2. Bundesliga game against FC Heidenheim this weekend.
The youngster, who signed for Arsenal this summer, will be hoping to see his first club involvement of the season after shining for his country over the summer.
Playing for Japan at the Olympics at Rio, Asano scored two goals in the three games he played before they were eliminated from the tournament.
During the most recent international break he netted again for Japan, this time against Thailand in their World Cup qualifier.

Speaking to Arsenal.com this week, Arsene Wenger highlighted what it was about the player that made him sign him for the Gunners.
“What I see in him is the quality of his runs, his pace, his body strength and he is quite aggressive,” Wenger said.
“You do not find many players today who go behind the defenders at every opportunity.
“That is one of his strengths. I must say, I’m personally a strong believer in him, because by coincidence I met the national coach of Japan and he is absolutely convinced by him.”
