Jack Wilshere has ended a day of speculation which saw him wanted across Europe by signing for Bournemouth.

At one point it was being claimed that 22 clubs wanted to sign Jack, but throughout deadline day that was whittled down to just there – Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Roma.

As the day developed Jack was ‘set to pick’ each one of the teams, agreeing terms with Roma, choosing Palace after a chat with Pardew and leaning towards Bournemouth. It was almost as if people didn’t really know what was going on.

Well, now they do.

I know many don’t want to see him leave the club on loan but I, for one, am really excited at getting the chance to hopefully watch him play regularly without feeling the disappointment of another injury and worrying how that will impact Arsenal negatively.

How can that not be a good thing for everyone?

He also gets to hook up with Benik Afobe, the godfather to one of Jack’s kids.

Fun times.

Bournemouth will reportedly pay Arsenal £2m to loan Jack Wilshere this season. They’re also going to pay his £80,000-a-week wages in full.
