West Ham could be about to sign supposed Arsenal target Wilfried Bony if Slaven Bilic’s recent comments are anything to go by.

The Manchester City striker looks to be off this summer, with Arsenal being one of the main clubs linked. However, there’s no way City would sell to us and I highly doubt we were interested. If he’s not good enough for our rivals, why should he be good enough for us?

Speaking recently, West Ham’s manager, Bilic hinted that he could be interested in the former Swansea man.

“Injuries? Transfers? We will try to get one in and the chairmen will be very generous if we can,” he said.

“Bony is a good player – but we will speak on Monday. If we get one it’s got to be a good one. But if not I have the squad that will fight for West Ham big time.”

It could be an excellent move for both player and club since he’d get more playing time and they would get a pretty decent striker for their level.

Will West Ham actually get him? It’s still unclear. All I can tell is that Bony wants out of City and there are clubs interested in signing him. But Arsenal aren’t one of them
