Granit Xhaka has been named in WhoScored.com’s top XI newcomers this summer after signing for Arsenal.
The midfielder dazzled us all at the Euros with his pass accuracy and ability to dictate play. He’s only 23 and already probably has his name penciled in for our opening Premier League match against Liverpool at the Emirates.
However, it wasn’t just our Gooner goggles making us love our new signing, according to Whoscored.com, he’s statistically one of the best acquisitions so far this summer, receiving a rating of 7.35 – just behind Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan (7.90), Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan (7.43) and Spurs’ Vincent Janssen (7.52).
And Xhaka’s overall rating isn’t his only impressive stat. Check these out.
