Depending on where you do your reading, you could be sitting here today believing that Riyad Mahrez wants to join Arsenal or stay at Leicester City.
That’s because on Thursday reports were flying everywhere that flat out contradicted each other with some reporters claiming that Mahrez would most likely be staying where he is and others claiming the club had resigned themselves to him leaving.

It’s almost as if many involved in writing about this latest transfer saga don’t actually have any real information and are just speculating.
Shocking, I know.
For some reason, I don’t feel like we will see Mahrez rock up at the Emirates in an Arsenal shirt this season.
Although Arsenal’s interest in him has been there since before he had his amazing season (this time last year, some of the fans begging Arsenal to sign the player of the year were laughing at how ridiculous it was that we were linked with him) I think that Leicester will keep hold of him.
Claudio Ranieri seems to think so too and he’s been on the money so far this summer
Claudio Ranieri says Mahrez is not leaving Leicester: "Riyad Mahrez does not have the [release] clause and he will stay with us."
