Daniel Sturridge has returned to training with Liverpool ahead of their clash with Arsenal on Sunday but will he be fit enough to play?

The injury-prone striker was left out as a precaution during the latter stages of Liverpool’s pre-season due to a hip injury and although now he’s returned to training, he’s still a doubt for Sunday.

Last season, the dance-enthusiast only featured 14 times in the Premier League, missing out through prolonged knee, hip and hamstring injuries. Therefore, it’s not really a surprise that he’ll most likely be out for the opener.

Having injury-prone players is something that we as Arsenal fans know about all too well and the scousers are bound to be a bit miffed following the latest news.

James Milner and Marko Grujic are also facing a race against time to be ready for the trip to the Emirates on the first day of the season.
